Team seats and roles

Inviting teammates, what each role can do, and how seats count against your plan.

Your Luminid account belongs to your organization, and everyone hiring with you works inside it, each with their own seat and role.

The roles

  • Owner. The person who created the organization. Full control, including billing and transferring ownership. Every organization has exactly one.
  • Admin. Everything a recruiter can do, plus inviting and managing team members and deleting jobs. Admins do not manage billing.
  • Recruiter. The standard working seat. Posts and edits jobs, views applicants, moves pipeline stages, and makes disposition decisions.
  • Hiring Manager. A seat for the people who own the role but not the process. They participate in evaluation without team administration duties. For hiring managers outside Luminid entirely, shortlist links cover the finalist review without using a seat.

Inviting your team

Invites are sent by email from Settings, under Team, by an owner or admin. You pick the role at invite time, and pending invites count toward your seat limit until they are accepted or revoked, so clear out stale invites if you are near your cap.

Seats and your plan

Each plan includes a set number of seats, listed on the pricing page and in your billing settings alongside your current usage. When you hit the limit, inviting another member requires an upgrade or freeing a seat.

Two practices worth adopting

Remove seats the day someone leaves the hiring team. You are responsible for who acts inside your organization, and stale access is the most common audit finding in any hiring system. And give hiring managers their real role rather than sharing recruiter credentials, because shared logins make your pipeline history unreliable about who decided what.
